Dr. Jorge Fernandez-Abril, DDS, is a general dentist with 14 years experience in restorative, cosmetic, and family dentistry. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School, and he received his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Florida. He attended high school locally at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School.

About Jorge Abril, DDS
Approach to Dentistry
Dr. Abril believes in performing thorough dental, periodontal, radiographic, and oral cancer exams. After considering all information gathered, his goal is always to execute long-lasting and predictable courses of treatment. Customer service and bedside manner are just as important to Dr. Abril as the dentistry itself, and he believes in educating his patients while providing gentle dental care.
Family
Dr. Abril is the second dentist in his family after his sister, who is also a graduate of the University of Maryland. He met his wife Ana Cristina in Miami after dental school, and they have a daughter named Carolina.
Outside of Work
In his free time, Jorge is an avid sports fan and follows the Heat, Marlins, Dolphins, Gators, and Canes. He enjoys playing basketball and hopes to pass on a love of the game to his daughter in the future. Dr. Abril also plays acoustic guitar, and his guilty pleasures include chocolate chip cookies, Microsoft Excel, and analyzing sports statistics.
